The ‘Charles Vane Percussion / Flintlock Cap Pistol’ pistol was named after the infamous pirate of the 17th century in the Bahamas. He was known to be admired by his crew, for being a leader and lucky in finding plunder. This decoration pistol can be used with toy ammunition caps, and is a perfect match for pirates, sailors or shady characters.

This is NOT A REAL GUN and, instead, can be used with single caps to complete your perfect LARP, Halloween, theatre or cosplay character.

The ‘Charles Vane Percussion/Flintlock Cap Pistol’ is an imitation 17th century Flintlock pistol set up to fire single shot caps. The Charles Vane Percussion/Flintlock Cap Pistol has a faux wooden handle and aluminium/zinc metal work.

CAPS

Since Brexit, we’ve been unable to acquire and sell the single caps designed for these replica flintlocks. However, nearly all toy caps available in local toy stores or online are suitable. If you can only find ring caps, all you need to do is break or cut the caps into singles.

Be careful to only cut the plastic links if you’re using scissors, otherwise you’ll likely give yourself a fright by activating the caps and possibly hurt yourself.
